Our Mission

Hudson Village Theatre’s mission is to sustain and grow a vibrant English Language performing arts facility that serves the town of Hudson and the larger surrounding region. The theatre exists to produce and present high-quality professional theatre, music, comedy, film and opera productions for a diverse audience. It seeks out and provides opportunities for emerging theatre artists as well as local performers, to encourage and cultivate their talents and offers its vibrant venue to community groups. The theatre strives to build and nurture an organizational culture that embraces a commitment to inclusiveness, accessibility and diversity.

Land Acknowledgement

We honour and acknowledge this land as unceded territory of the Kanien’keha:ka. We recognize that for years the Algonquin, Ojibwe, Huron-Wendat, and Haudenosaunee also served as ancestral caretakers of this area we now call Hudson.

This theatre is on land that long served as a meeting place among nations. We strive to maintain this as a place of storytelling, dialogue, peace and respect.
