Our Mission

Hudson Village Theatre is a not-for-profit cultural organization that produces and presents high-quality professional theatre, music, comedy and film for a diverse audience which serves the town of Hudson and the larger surrounding region of Western Quebec and Eastern Ontario. It seeks out and provides opportunities for emerging theatre artists and local performers, to encourage and cultivate their talents. It offers a welcoming venue for community groups to gather and fosters a sense of belonging. The theatre strives to build and nurture a culture that is committed to inclusiveness, accessibility and diversity.

Land Acknowledgement

We honour and acknowledge this land as unceded territory of the Kanien’keha:ka. We recognize that for years the Algonquin, Ojibwe, Huron-Wendat, and Haudenosaunee also served as ancestral caretakers of this area we now call Hudson.

This theatre is on land that long served as a meeting place among nations. We strive to maintain this as a place of storytelling, dialogue, peace and respect.
