MARCH 4-14

Matinées & Evenings

Book, Music and Lyrics by: Irene Sankoff and David Hein

Directed and Choreographed by: Nadia Verrucci

Come From Away is based on the true story of the days after September 11, 2001 when the small, isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, faced tragedy with selfless acts of kindness as 38 planes, carrying almost 7000 people from around the globe, were unexpectedly diverted to Gander’s airstrip. Undaunted by cultural clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander showed these strangers love and compassion, opened their homes and hearts and shared their music and culture, giving stranded travelers from around the world stability and a home away from home and proving that we’re all part of a global family.
