Opera Gone Wild Fundraiser

A Little Music in the Night  An exciting end of August fund-raising presentation will be on August 27 and 28 at 8.00pm. The subject is Opera Gone Wild – Mozart to Sondheim. The featured performers will be Hudson’s Claire de Sévigné along with Isabelle Nicolas, Jeremy Carver-James and David Moote. They are all recent graduates of the Schulich School of Music, McGill University – the stars of tomorrow.

They will be led – from the piano – by renowned young, Jordan de Souza. The Montreal Gazette has claimed he is “the one to watch” in a recent article on his background and rise in the musical rank of orchestra conductors.

The young cast will bring their passion and interpretations to arias and scenes from Mozart to Sondheim. Included will be Rigoletto, Into the Woods, Die Fledermaus, La Boheme, Camelot, Lakme, Street Scene, Der Rosenkavalier, Candide and Fidelio. It will be an exceptional evening of music and song and each performance will be followed by a wine and cheese reception.
